Sludge from the effluent treatment station is the largest solid residue from our production process – it is treated inside the company and 100% is donated to a composting mill in the municipality of Viana (ES) to be transformed into organic fertilizer for the producers.
Treatment and destination of solid residues – iron, paper, plastic, cardboard, and others – to registered recycling companies; selective waste collection all over the industrial plant; recycling of 100% of packaging process losses; recycle stamp seals on Cafuso products; donation of pallets for social institutions; industry kitchen implemented organic waste generation reduction processes.
